Commentary
Quality was fair as agents offered 100 liveweight cattle with the usual trade and processor buyers providing steady competition. The few heavy steers and cows sold to a dearer trend as the balance of the offering returned a mostly firm result.
Trade steers sold from 450c to 510c as heifers ranged from 420c to 490c/kg. Restocker steers sold from 450c to 500c/kg. Feeder heifers sold from 400c to 450c as heavy steers ranged from 380c to 400c with heavy heifers selling from 370c to 400c/kg. Heavy cows sold from 300c to 370c with light cows fetching 160c to 282c/kg.
