Total Yarding:  7,360

Commentary

Numbers were down for a total yarding of 7360 mixed quality sheep and lambs. Mutton again dominated the yarding with some additional bidders keeping the prices on par this week. Limited numbers of heavy lambs sold to $117 while feeder and restocker buyers pushed lighter weights up $5/head. Plain store sheep sold for minimal prices with limited interest. Heavy mutton remained mainly firm selling to $45/head.

Light weight lambs under 16kg cwt sold to $71 while weights under 18kg cwt sold from $55 to $90, trade weights returned $81 to $100 and heavy weights sold to $117 /head .Assorted weight range of ram lambs made from $5 to $80 to processors.

Whether hoggets sold from $2 to $40 while ewe hoggets made from $2 to $38/head.

Store ewes made from $2 to $20, medium weights sold to $30 and heavy weights over 30kg cwt returned from $30 to $45/head. Heavy Merino wethers gained returning from $35 to $40 while mature rams sold from $2 to $32/head.
